| Nasrin (Nas) is an international award winning artist and cartoonist from Persia. Since arriving in the US, her wok has been featured in the New York Times, The Huffington Post and on the BBC. Nas began her caricature career at five years old in her living room in Shiraz, Iran to the great amusement of her family, but not her brother who was her first subject. This lead to a career as an artist which brought her to France, China, Belgium and twelve other European countries in which she garnered over two dozen international awards for live caricature and painting. Nas loves to draw kids, couples, and cats and dogs, all your pets (except snakes, no exceptions!) who stray into her frame. Her live caricatures are audacious and humorous and she herself loves to engage and make her subjects feel comfortable in their poses. Nas can do each face in about 5 min. in black and white or 10 min. in color. It averages out to 10-12 people in black and white in an hour, or about 6 people in color in an hour.
