| Kalina started drawing and painting as a child, using oil paints mostly. As a young woman she started using charcoal, ink, water color and acrylics. Which she created a lot of abstract paintings with. As a performer, she was asked to face-paint for parties. She accepted. While doing that, she got hired to face-paint for a theme park. Which led in drawing caricatures.
