My preferred style is portrait with a touch of caricature. I strive to produce a true likeness while injecting a bit of humor. My goal is to produce drawings very quickly while maintaining a quality standard I've set for myself.
I often carry on a conversation to keep the subject at ease and evoke characteristic facial expressions, especially a smile. Part of the effect of what I do is in the process, the show. A line of people waiting to be drawn forms and others may stop to observe and joke.
My clients include over 25 Wisconsin high schools and colleges, 20 midwest festivals and art fairs, and many corporate and individual events.
