In the late 1980's, Ken was teaching art at a small Christian school in the Chicago area. At the prompting of some of his high school art students, he worked at Six Flags Great American Amusement Park drawing caricatures during the summer of 1990. Since that summer, Ken moved his family to central Michigan and began drawing caricatures at art fairs and private parties around the state of Michigan.
