Party Caricatures

I created a unique way of doing caricatures, in that I draw faces and bodies, on clear plastic (acetate) with a black marker. I then color the reverse side with transparent markers and opaque crayons. Then I flip the completed art over, and slip it into a white matte, complete with a sunburst/rainbow design beneath the matte. It looks like a water color portrait encased in glass of you ( but there is no water color nor glass used). I carry with me 2 books (1 sports, 1 non-sports) of various poses. The people can then chose the pose, which I will draw. It keeps it fresh and more entertaining for them and me.

	SERVES	• New York City, Putnam County NY; nearby parts of New York state and Long Island; Connecticut; and Northern New Jersey. Travel charges apply outside these areas.
	RATE*	• $145 per hour; 3 hour minimum. Add $25 for jobs in NYC city limits.
	SPEED**	• 12 to 15 people per hour, black & white, with bodies • 10 to 12 people per hour, color, with bodies
	SIZE	• 9" x 12" with frame
	MEDIA	• Black marker on acetate film; I then color the back with prisma markers and china markers, then flip it over again, and place it into a white matted frame, with a full solor background sunburst beneath it.
	REQUIRES	from customer • 3 chairs and an electric outlet.
	GROUPS	• Up to five people in one drawing (takes the same time as separate drawings).
