| Accepted into a gifted kids program in middle school called "Probe." Josh had an opportunity to take on art classes that included sculpting, fine art, cartooning, and architecture. After the precocious 12 year olds finished making fun of the name of the program, "come on "Probe?" and the classical music we were forced to listen to, we learned quite a lot about the fundamentals of art. This carried on through high school and college.
As a result of his accelerated start, his art decked the halls, the same halls where he was almost decked because of his eccentricity (not so much in college as in public school). Josh got his first gig drawing a logo, T-shirts, and an actual 4 x 6 foot caricature of the owner of Sam's Pizza Island in West Chester, PA that sits atop the sub shop to this day. He has done many commissioned works since then and has worked for Chick-fil-a, Boomers, Penn State, Molly Maid, and Applebees. He's done gigs at "The People's Festival of Wilmington, DE" (Bob Marley Festival), "The Kennet Square Mushroom Festival" in PA, "The Wheaton Arts", "Festival of Fine Craft" in New Jersey and many more.
