| Maria has been a professional caricature artist since 1998. Her nickname, The Hurricane, as her friends have dubbed her--definitely suits her energy level! Having started out at a local theme park, she continues to work in and around the greater Orlando area--and is almost done obtaining her degree in Graphic Design. From conventions, trade show booths, school functions, birthdays, weddings, fairs, festivals, family reunions, work parties--you name it, she's done it! Maria even works at charity events, where either all or a percentage of the money she earns goes toward a specific cause. One thing is for certain: KNOW your audience. She either asks the guests, or tries to be in-tune with everyone's personality as to how they act while seated in front of her -- and what caricature intensity/style would be appropriate for that individual. Be it exaggerated, toned-down humor, or just plain cute -- she tries to suit the needs of everyone. This way, no one walks away unsatisfied, and they remember a positive "caricature experience". Maria strives to provide quality (and HIGH volume) work, professional service and a friendly, energetic and positive attitude toward all her clients.
